Back a Little Stronger
11 08, 14
dear quotidien champions,
it's been a long time since i last wrote, but i'm glad to say that recently i've been making good progress regarding the pain in my hands and arms. i started seeing a new occupational therapist, and what a difference! for the first time since my initial injury over a year ago, i can actually see a light at the end of the tunnel, instead of just waiting in the dark, hoping it's there.
for over a year i haven't had a chance to play a set of my own music. i had a couple of two-song gigs, and i've gotten to play with jaggery (thank goodness!), but now i'm feeling a little stronger and am going to go for a real show of my own, at long last. caffè vivaldi in new york has been kind enough to be patient with me and to welcome me back, and i'm very much looking forward to another visit to my hometown city. i've got a new song and have been working on it with the ever-flabbergasting cellist valerie thompson, and i'm so excited to share it with you! honestly i don't know how it will go, but it sure wouldn't hurt to have some kind souls there to support...
stronger back, bolder shoulders,
petaluma
p.s. my album is still available here if you can't get in in person!
