Road Awakening

dear solstice souls and summer spirits,

it's almost here! summer is almost officially upon us, and i for one am savoring these longest days of the year and the promises they beam through late afternoon clouds. i am about to close out my new jersey working career, and sally forth with a new life in massachusetts. but! before that happens, i'm in for a Road Awakening with jaggery--playing my harp, singing, and rumbling along the routes of the northeast with the friends i'm so lucky to call bandmates. it would be so lovely to see you along the way!

dreaming & doing, grinning & going,
petaluma

A Fresh Start

dear zephyrs and gales,

i'm grateful to still be alive and able to greet you after what for me was a very brutal month of may. there is still much more work to be done, but the light at the end of the tunnel (i.e., summer) approaches, and the winds of change are sweeping in! i will be moving to boston (or, more accurately, cambridge) in july. the boston area has been calling me for a few years, and i'm now able to answer its invitation with a grand ol' YES. i will undoubtedly make many visits back to the garden state and new york city, but my upcoming nyc appearance may be the last local solo show before i pack up my bindle and move 200 miles away!

read on to see what's coming and what i've been up to...

leaps of location and faith,
petaluma
