Goblets of Gatorade: Poetry Soon, Music on the Horizon

dear runners both literal and metaphorical,

i am excited to tell you that this coming weekend i will be participating in the Boston Poetry Marathon! because you know the only marathons i would join do not involve sneakers! (i’m suddenly picturing me and dozens of other poets, dressed in our poet-ing attire, with notebooks and pens, writing with knit brows as we jog up heartbreak hill, huffing and puffing while we work on our most devastating love poems... i hope you’re as amused by this image as i am.)

in any case, below are links and details about when you can come to hear me read if you wish. and if you know me you may also know Jack Miller and Heather Hughes, who will be reading right after me in the lineup! also exciting this year is that the venue is air conditioned and accessible(!), with an elevator and wheelchair-accessible bathroom.

sweatbands and electrolytes,

petaluma
